Boarding

EmBARKadero Social Club provides clean, comfortable runs for your pooches. We offer puffy plush dog beds in roomy kennels. We also offer a space with couches that can be reserved only $10 for additional request.

There is a pet loving employee on site overnight.

All dogs must pass the temperament test to be admitted into the facility. We do not accept any dog showing aggressive behavior.

 

ESC is "more like a house than a warehouse" which means not only does it feel like a home, we also have neighbors above, beside and behind us.

 

There are certain breeds and sizes that don't do well in our smaller facility. To provide as much room to roam and frolic, we have a minimum weight allowance of 8 LBS and maximum weight allowance of 50 LBS, no exceptions. 

 

If your dog is an excessive night time barker, does not do well in a kennel and needs human companionship overnight, the kennel-free charge will apply.  We want your pet to be as comfortable and stress-free as they would be at home.  There are some dogs that may do better in a "warehouse" setting and we will evaluate all campers on an ongoing basis.

1 dog:   $58/night 

2 dogs: $100/Night

3 dogs: $135/Night

Additional $10 for dogs out of kennel.

Pick-up after 12p or noon, apply: $20/1 dog, $48/2 dogs

 

Exit Bath only: $50-$70, please order when booking.

On SUNDAYS: Our doors will be closed but you are invited to call when outside and an employee will take care of you.

Dog Boarding Overview

 

Please call and arrange a Mutt & Greet preferably at least one week in advance of booking. Please make sure you have the latest vaccination records from your vet and your dog is up-to-date on all shots including DistemperBordetella, Rabies, and Leptospirosis. These vaccinations must be emailed at least 24 hours before the appointment. The Mutt & Greet will take approximately 30 minutes. We normally schedule these Monday-Friday between the hours of 11:00 A.M. & 3:00 PM. While you fill out our paperwork, your dog will be introduced to the other dogs here at daycare and tested for temperament, we do not accept any dog showing aggressive behavior. We will give you a tour of the facility once your pup is considered admitted. As noted on our Daycare page:

 

  • We are an exclusive facility, in that we test for temperament and excessive barking. (We are surrounded by neighbors and we do our best to keep them happy.) 

  • We have restrictions on certain breeds. (Please ask one of our friendly front desk team members)

  • Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months.

  • Dogs 4 months and older, must be current on, Distemper, Bordetella, Rabies and Leptospirosis. Dogs must also be in good health, flea/tick free.

  • Puppies 3 months old: I will need her vaccination records emailed prior to the appointment, including:

 

Canine Parvovirus

Distemper

Bordetella

 

Rabies and Leptospirosis can be given at 4 months, these vaccines are not necessary at time of Mutt and Greet.

To all clients of the Social Club, please call to book your boarding at least two days in advance. We recommend calling at least a month in advance of any major holiday.

 

BOARDING REQUESTS AND RULES:

 

  1. We request that you bring the food your dog eats for their stay at ESC so that they stay on their normal diet. Each meal needs to be pre-measured and placed in a baggie/ziploc. Pack an extra bag or two of meals in case your stay gets unexpectedly delayed or your return date changes. If you cannot provide your dog's own food to us there will be a $6.00  per can (wet food) charge for our in-house food.

  2. Bring any oral medications and we will dispense them according to your instructions.

  3. No need to bring your dog's personal items, however, if you feel they would be more comfortable with a personal blanket or bedding, we are happy to take it in with them. We will try to keep these items clean but on occasion, we are unable to wash them due to volume and timing.

  4. We never introduce food, toys or treats in the dog play area as it’s a trigger for some dogs for aggression.

  5. If possible, please schedule the drop off before 4 pm. If you drop them off at the end of the day they are super excited and hyper, while the other dogs at the Social Club will be tired, hungry and wanting to relax.

  6. Reservations are required for all overnight stays and it is recommended that Holiday reservations be made weeks or months in advance.

  7. All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months and must go through a brief social evaluation. (A Mutt & Greet - See above in OVERVIEW.)

  8. All dogs must come in with collars, tags, and leashes
